DexMouse.

About Us.

We test gaming mice for latency, click consistency, sensor accuracy, and build quality. Zero sponsored reviews. Zero hype. Just data.

Our Philosophy

The gaming peripheral industry is saturated with marketing jargon—"hyper-fast," "ultra-precise," "game-winning." At DexMouse, we ignore the marketing and test the hardware.

We built this site because we were tired of subjective reviews based on "how it feels in game." Feeling is subjective; millisecond latency and CPI deviation are not. We use industry-standard tools like NVIDIA LDAT and custom polling analysis software to evaluate every mouse we cover.

How We Test

  • Click Latency: Measured using an NVIDIA LDAT (Latency Display Analysis Tool) modified to tap the mouse switch directly, measuring the time from physical switch actuation to the signal registering on the PC.
  • Sensor Accuracy: We test CPI deviation at 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 steps using MouseTester software on a motorized rig to ensure consistent physical speed.
  • Polling Stability: Continuous capture of report rates to identify dropped packets or inconsistent timing intervals, especially crucial for 4KHz and 8KHz mice.
